Families Convey Positive Impacts of Educational Improvement, Opportunity Scholarship Programs

WHAT:     House Republican Policy Committee Chairman Joshua D. Kail (R-Beaver/Washington) and other lawmakers will host a hearing titled “Funding our Children’s Future” to raise awareness of the positive impacts of the Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) and Opportunity Scholarship Tax Credit (OSTC) programs, and how they meet the needs of families and students across the entire income spectrum.

WHO:     Kail; members of the committee; and the following testifiers: Dr. Anne Prisco, president, Holy Family University; Zakiyyah Boone, CEO, Wonderspring Early Education; Christi Buker, executive director, Pennsylvania Library Association; Ryan Haney, parent; Floyd Faria, parent; and others.
